May 12th, 2012 -- Four-time Grammy nominee and CMT Award winner Trace Adkins will appear Friday, August 17th at the Swiftwater Cellars Concert series for an evening of country songs and storytelling in the Cascade foothills of Cle Elum , WA . The concert is part of the ongoing Songsand Stories tour, a series of intimate U.S. theater dates where Adkins performs stripped down versions and explains the inspiration and emotion behind fan favorites and newer hits alike, from “Just Fishin’” and “You’re Gonna Miss This” to “Songs About Me” and “(This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing.”
In the fifteen years since his platinum debut album Dreamin’ Out Loud, Adkins has released ten studio albums, three greatest hits packages, and thirty chart singles, and received five ACM and CMT awards. His latest release, 2011’s Proud To Be Here, displays once again his ability to pour emotional truth into his music — whether of the tender or rowdy variety. The album celebrates committed love in songs like “MillionDollar View,” “That’s What You Get,” and “Always Gonna Be That Way”; the joys of the simple life in “Days Like This” and “Poor Folks”; the lighter side of things in “It’s A Woman Thang” and “Love Buzz”; and life’s highest priorities in “It’s Who You Know.” In addition to his success as a country music artist, Adkins has appeared in television and movies, and is also the author of A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Freethinking Roughneck.
The Swiftwater Cellars Concert series is located at the unique Swiftwater Cellars, a destination winery in the Cascade foothills just 90 miles east of Seattle .
Tickets for Trace Adkins at Swiftwater Cellars range from $55 to $150 VIP (VIP tickets include premium buffet and reserved seating). Tickets on sale May 21st at www.ticketmaster.com. For more information, visit http://www.swiftwatercellars.com/ or call 509.674.6555.

Three Dog Night at Swiftwater Cellars Winery 2012
May 12th, 2012 -- Veteran American rockers Three Dog Night will appear Friday, July 27th, 2012, with special guests The Beatniks, at the Swiftwater Cellars Summer Concert Series in
Since their formation in 1968, the band has released 13 gold albums and charted 21 Top 40 hits, including “Mama Told Me(Not To Come),” “Black And White,” “Shambala,” and “Easy To Be Hard”.
Initially brought together by Danny Hutton and Cory Wells, Three Dog Night recorded the music of the best (and mostly undiscovered) new songwriters of their time including Harry Nilsson, Randy Newman, Elton John, Laura Nyro, Paul Williams and Hoyt Axton among many others. The group’s eclectic taste, combined with their ability to recognize and record hits in a unique, distinctive and appealing style, resulted in Three Dog Night dominating the charts for years. The now-famous name came from a story about Australian hunters who, on cold nights in the outback, sleep with their dogs for warmth. The coldest evenings are known as a "three dog night".

In 2002, Three Dog Night released Three Dog Night with the London SymphonyOrchestra, an album recorded both in Los Angeles and at the historic AbbeyRoad Studios in London. The release included two new songs, “Overground” and “Sault Ste. Marie.” 20thCentury Masters: The Best of Three Dog Night was released in 2007, its popularity on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart a testament to the band’s continued legacy.
The current lineup includes founding members Cory Wells and Danny Hutton (lead vocals), Jimmy Greenspoon (keyboards), Michael Allsup (guitar), and longtime members Paul Kingery (bass/vocals) and Pat Bautz (drums). THREEDOG NIGHT continues to grow its fan base and develop new ways of doing business. They maintain an aggressive schedule of concerts at theatres, performing arts centers, fairs, festivals, corporate events, and casinos. Since 1986, they have performed over 2,000 shows including two Super Bowls.
