Suncadia Summer Nights in the Village 
May 4th 2012This June, Suncadia Resort will launch the 2012 season of Summer Nights in the Village, an evening summer concert series at Suncadia Village Amphitheater. Suncadia is a destination mountain resort in Cle Elum, WA, just 90 miles east of Seattle. Visitors are treated to luxury accomodations, fresh local cuisine, and a range of outdoor activities — mountain biking, boating, hiking, fly fishing, horseback riding, golf, and more — set against the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.   
Summer Nights in the Village offers free live music under the stars, with waterfront views of the Cle Elum River and the Cascades. This year’s season kicks off June 23 with DUELING PIANOS!!  Elton Jah CANCELLED

For several weekends from June to September, concertgoers will have the chance to enjoy a gourmet meal, a glass of wine, and a relaxing evening with entertainment from jazz, country, blues, rock, acoustic and folk acts from around the Northwest and beyond. The series is family-friendly and open to all ages, with beer and wine available to patrons 21 and over. 

Suncadia Summer Nights is sponsored by the Suncadia Fund forCommunity Enhancement, a local nonprofit advocating for the improvement of social, cultural, economic, and environmental conditions in Suncadia, Roslyn, Cle Elum and South Cle Elum.

Rock-folk with pop sensibility.


Luke Jaxon Band  - Saturday, June 30 at 7 p.m.
Luke Jaxon Band features country music from the past and present with tunes any cowboy can
enjoy.

The Impossible Bird featuring Nick Drummond - Sunday, July 1 at 12 p.m.
This acoustic duo claims to “shake your bones,” with their stellar combination of upbeat and
alternative folk.

The Halyards – Sunday, July 1 at 3 p.m.
Featuring harmonies from acoustic rock guitars, this group delivers their take on life, love and the
splendor of it all.

Stephanie Porter – Saturday, July 21 at 7 p.m .
Having performed in some of the region’s top venues including Jazz Alley, the Triple Door, Tula’s 
and El Gaucho’s Pampas Room, this  Seattle native has been a long time figure in the Northwest
jazz scene.


Chance McKinney –.Saturday, July 28 at 7 p.m
As a CMT Music City Madness Winner, this Northwest based recording artist, took home the
prize for the number one unsigned artist in the nation. His sound can be defined as industrialized
country.


FilĂ© Gumbo – Friday, August 10 at 7 p.m.
With a sound like that of Mardi Gras, this band mixes rhythms from blues, country and roots
music to get the party started.

Michael Powers – Saturday, August 25 at 7 p.m.
This Seattle jazz guitarist’s music is said to “honor the past, celebrate the present and reach the
future,” with his impressive technique and powerful performances.

The Motown Cowboys – Saturday, September 1 and Sunday September 2 at 7 p.m.
This unique band reaches beyond conventional, playing the great rock classics, a little Texas blues, and a bottle full of outlaw country.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase at each show and blankets, sleeping bags and low
